Your wedding, your way. A blank space with a warm heart, Sanctuary is Canberra’s most versatile intimate wedding venue. It’s your day, don’t settle or compromise. We are a wedding venue giving you the freedom to bring your favourite suppliers, caterers, and stylists – because your venue shouldn’t determine your menu.

We offer a large open space with separate kitchen, bathrooms, outdoor cocktail area and private studio. Our space is full of bright, warm, natural lighting for good vibes and incredible wedding photos.

With the option to hire tables, chairs, place settings, styling and more, you only pay for what you need.

Want a little help with your special day? We offer a Wedding Venue & Styling package to minimise the stress on your day.

As part of the package you'll get:


  • Exclusive use of Sanctuary for up to 80 people.
  • Intimate sitting area for the bride.

Bridesmaids we've got you covered.

Celebrate the bride-to-be with a traditional kitchen high tea or a modern bridal shower. Available as hire only or let us do the hard work for you with our Bridal Kitchen High Tea Setup Package:

Exclusive use of the venue including courtyard for 2 hours including:

  • Chairs, tables, styling, and high tea setting hire for up to 30 guests
